Queensland Business Review The Queensland 400 Book of Lists Women In Business

About the Queensland 400

The Queensland 400 is a central part of Queensland Business Review’s purpose to inform and connect the State’s business leaders.

Described as one of the key business events of the year, it is a unique program that provides public recognition of the achievements of Queensland’s local business heroes – the owners of the state’s leading home-grown enterprises.

Now in its sixth year, the Queensland 400 list and awards will be unveiled at a gala dinner at Suncorp Stadium’s, Members Dining Room on October 23.

The Dinner promises to be a key event to not only celebrate your business achievements, but to network and socialise with your peers.

The traditional Q400 Business Summit will now be held across four ‘Q400 Club’ breakfast events throughout 2008, and will feature experts and business owners focusing on key issues of direct relevance to private company owners and managers.

WHY PARTICIPATE IN THE Q400?

There are real benefits in participating in this program, both for you, your business and the broader Queensland business community.

Firstly, the Q400 provides public recognition of the achievements of local business heroes like you, through the official list, the annual special publication and the Q400 Business Summit - as well as widespread coverage in other media.

Additionally, membership of this exclusive group of enterprises - with a combined turnover of $14.25 billion and 42,545 employees in 2005 - attracts significant kudos among government, the corporate sector and the broader community.

Companies also earn the right to leverage their membership as a powerful marketing tool, through the exclusive use of the official insignia, the members-only Q400 magazine and membership certificates.

Just as importantly, the Q400 draws the attention of governments and other stakeholders to the economic significance and importance of this group of enterprises - and the issues affecting their growth and profitability.

The more businesses that participate, the more powerful the message.
